YouTesla's activity is essentially based on user putting their ideas on a map (they have to be related to physics, engineering, biology, or IT): once this has been done, ideas are ready to be looked for by Venture Capitalist visiting the website (they have the possibility to put markers related to their activity as well).

In the case of  an entrepreneur noticing your idea, the entrepreneur will contact the inventor/startup, with the latter having the possibility of choosing whether or not to collaborate with the Venture Capitalist, for the development of the invention..

Despite its great simplicity (all you have to do is put a marker on a map), YouTesla's vision is something greater that one could think at a first sight: it has been created with the purpose of giving everyone the possibility to contribute to science and technology, and, most important of all, it has been  thought as a  way to accelerate scientific development in a much faster way than it has ever done before.
