Diversity and Mentorship In Technology Podcast Launches

NEW YORK - Feb. 3, 2018 - PRLog -- The Diversity And Mentorship In Technology Podcast launches today, serving as both an educational and technology resource for students and entrepreneurs of various gender and cultural backgrounds interested in the tech sector.   The tech industry as a whole, which continues to have some struggles with gender and cultural inclusion, is making strides to tackle topics like unconscious interview bias and speak more openly about these issues.

Technology can be seen as the great equalizer, but it some ways, it can also be an inhibitor.  The fact that Facebook only recently hired its first non-Caucasian board member, American Express's CEO Kenneth Chenault in 2018, is evident that there is a long path ahead.

With so many individuals interested in technology, the Diversity and Mentorship weekly podcast is  valuable to its listeners who seek advice, guidance, and professional connections from tech leaders and professionals from around the world.  The program also serves a resource center by providing a rich educational experience with curriculum based live and virtual tech classes and thought provoking technology discussions.

Class topics include Mastering WordPress and Magento, Building Your Own Website, and Becoming A Better Developer.  Students will have the opportunity to take weekly classes via a live stream with professional instructors each semester beginning in February 2018.
