All Are Welcome to Enjoy Patton Homestead for Outdoor Winter Fun!

WENHAM, Mass. - Feb. 2, 2018 - PRLog -- Ready to beat the winter blues? The Town of Hamilton has launched its first "Snow Day at the Patton Homestead"– a celebration of winter and the beauty of the Homestead's landscape.

The event, scheduled for Saturday February 10^th from Noon – 4 p.m., will feature activities such as sledding, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing on miles of trails groomed by the North Shore Nordic Association.  Access to the vast property, parking, and marshmallow roasting are free to guests.

"We know how much our residents, and visitors to the area, love to enjoy the outdoors.  We are very excited about welcoming them to the Patton Homestead and for the opportunity to outline some of the good things in store for the property, " said Town Manager Michael Lombardo.

The Whoo(pie) Wagon, of Topsfield, will be on hand to sell treats and beverages. Equipment rental is available by visiting Sports Stop in Wenham.  Dogs on leashes are welcome.

The Patton Homestead is located at 650 Asbury Street in Hamilton. Parking is available in an adjoining lot, and handicap access is available via the driveway next to the house.
