TUCSON, Ariz. - Feb. 1, 2018 - PRLog -- Judaic Artist, Marlene Burns, is pleased to announce her latest series of paintings.  She has expanded her Hebrew word series to include surnames and shetls of origin to her custom offerings in mixed media paintings. The sample shown is of her own ancestral town, Mezritch (Miedzyrzec, Podlaski), scripted in Yiddish. It is yet another way to memorialize her ancestors and inspire her own genealogical journey.

From the town's name, both tears and roots descend, explaining the deep connection to her family place of origin as well as her emotions, both of sadness and joy as she learns more about these people... from above, sprouts the family tree.

She is accepting commissions to enable others to own a piece of art that will share her sentiments regarding her ancestors and her quest to discover as much of her family as possible. Contact Marlene today to create a lasting memory.

More samples of her Hebrew 'name' commissions can be found in her Judaic gallery.
