Hung took a leap of faith and stood in line for hours to sing Ricky Martin's "She Bangs," his favorite song, in front of the American Idol judges for a chance to make it to Hollywood. Hung and the song soon became an internationally synonymous , catapulting the "singer" into stardom. Hung adapted and took the opportunity to perform in his personal style of singing around the world for large public and private events.
