Event Raises Funds for Free Bereavement Services in Clark County

VANCOUVER, Wash. - Jan. 31, 2018 - PRLog -- Community Home Health & Hospice held the Seasons of Hope Celebration & Fundraiser on Friday, January 19, 2018, at Royal Oaks Country Club in Vancouver, Washington. 98 guests attended and $33,171 was raised. Proceeds from the fundraiser will support the Seasons of Hope Grief Center and Memorial Garden in Salmon Creek and on-going, free grief care for everyone in Clark County. Guests received the latest news about the grief center project. Opening in 2018, it will include dedicated space for children, teens and adults. The memorial garden will lie between the Elaine and Don Heimbigner Hospice Care Center and the new grief center.

"We are so excited about our Seasons of Hope Grief Center and Memorial Garden project," said Greg Pang, President and CEO of Community Home Health & Hospice. "More importantly, we are excited to offer free bereavement services to everyone in the community, not just families touched by hospice. We really want to get the word out and this event was a great step in that direction."

Friends of Hospice Southwest Washington was the presenting sponsor. Anderson & Anderson Advisory, LLC; Glenwood Place Senior Living; J. H. Kelly, Inc.; The Quarry Senior Living; and Umpqua Bank also sponsored the event.
