Follow on Google News | Black Caucus Members Protest Trump at SOTU with Solidarity African ScarvesMembers of the Congressional Black Caucus Wear Congressional Scarves during SOTU in Solidarity supporting Africa against Trump's s**hole remarks.
By: Chez Kevito President Trump has been openly offending groups of people - particularly people of color - since the early days of his electoral campaign. As President, he has shown no sign of changing his rhetoric. A growing number of people - of all colors - now consider Mr. Trump as insensitive, prejudiced, racist, sexist and xenophobic. As evidence of their assessments, one need only reference the President's past behaviors: leading the birther movement against President Obama; accusing many Mexican immigrants of being "rapists"; calling for the "shutdown of Muslims entering the United States"; referencing racist protest marchers as "very fine people"; claiming Nigerians will never "go back to their huts" and that "all Haitian immigrants have AIDS". Incredibly, this kind of vitriol represents only a partial list of Mr. Trump's insults and racist remarks and the U.S. Congressional Black Caucus is proudly standing in opposition to what his invective represents. The scarves are the creation of Chez Kevito - are made of African kente cloth with print recognized by African's throughout the Diaspora as symbolic of their connection with mother Africa and are available at http://www.chezkevito.com. Part of the proceeds of any cloth purchase will support the challenges of women and girls throughout Africa. End
