Amanda Howland Calls on Roskam to Denounce Wynn, Return Contribution

LAKE ZURICH, Ill. - Jan. 28, 2018 - PRLog -- Amanda Howland, Democratic candidate for Congress in Illinois' 6th District, called on Congressman Peter Roskam to return any political contributions from Steve Wynn, the disgraced Republican National Committee finance chair, and to denounce his actions.

"Peter Roskam has the chance to be a leader and call up on the Republican Party to denounce Wynn and his behavior toward women. The fact that he has refused to denounce party leader Wynn and President Trump for their scandalous and disrespectful treatment of women is disgraceful."

Amanda Howland is a two-term elected trustee at the College of Lake County. She is an attorney, former special education teacher and administrator, a 2011 graduate of Loretta Durbin's Illinois Women's Institute for Leadership, and cancer survivor. Amanda has lived in Lake Zurich with her husband for more than 20 years. Her law practice is devoted to mediation, civil rights, and employment law. She is a nationally ranked gymnastics judge, longtime member of the Sierra Club, and member of the Lake Zurich Area Chamber of Commerce.
