NORWELL, Mass. - Jan. 26, 2018 - PRLog -- Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance, a South Shore practice specializing in unique programs that provide comprehensive treatment in orthopedic, spine and sports medicine specialties, is pleased to announce that Rachel Laufer, DPT has been named Director of Education and Employee Mentorship.

Laufer is also the practice's Center Coordinator of Clinical Education; in her expanded role as Director of Education and Employee Mentorship, she monitors and coordinates all educational opportunities for Peak's therapy staff to assist them in advancing their skills and thereby continually enhance the exceptional care that is the hallmark of Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance.   She also works with the practice's therapy staff to help identify broad-ranging areas of need.

A resident of Weymouth, Laufer joined Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance in 2015. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse in 2014. She also completed an Orthopedic Residency from Sacred Heart University in 2015. Laufer holds the designation of Orthopedic Certified Specialist, a significant achievement that distinguishes her among her peers as a specialist in evaluating and treating orthopedic conditions.
