3rd Annual SoLa Rum, Food & Wine Festival Returns To Lauderhill Performing Arts Center Grounds

LAUDERHILL, Fla. - Jan. 24, 2018 - PRLog -- The 3rd Annual SoLa Rum, Food & Wine Festival which will take place on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm on the grounds of the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center. The event is presented by the Greater Fort Lauderdale Conventions and Visitors' Bureau, Visit Lauderhill and the Lauderhill Regional Chamber of Commerce. This year's entertainment will be two-time Grammy nominee, and platinum selling R&B artist, Carl Thomas. In addition, percussionist and South Florida latin music favorite, Tony Succar will perform with his band, Mixtura.

We envision events like SoLa will help strengthen the central Broward region as the hub for a culturally diverse community for cuisine, entertainment, and arts -- a true 'Floribbean' lifestyle" said Maria Munro, Managing Director, SoLa Rum, Food & Wine Festival.

The public is invited to sip, stroll and experience a tasting of curated wines and rums from various Caribbean nations, tapas style food samples, and retail vendors all included with general admission tickets.  Wine enthusiasts and dining aficionados who are looking for an elevated outing can upgrade to the intimate VIP Experience; complete with a cocktail hour, special gift bags, and chef prepared 3-course dinner/wine pairing presentation.
