Southern Ocean Chamber hosts Chocolate Week Open House Feb 14 from 11am to 2pm

SHIP BOTTOM, N.J. - Jan. 23, 2018 - PRLog -- The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce kicks off its 104^th year of service with a mid-winter Open House to showcase members and member benefits.  With Chocolate Week kicking off February 11 and running through February 18, drop into the Visitor Center  located at 265 West Ninth Street in Ship Bottom from 11am to 2pm to enjoy a sampling of locally made treats, chocolate and tea pairing, calendar of Chocolate week events along with coupon and special offers.  In addition to serving the area's residents, business people are invited to stop in and learn about the advocacy, marketing and networking efforts that the business organization provides on a daily basis.

Chocolate Week highlights participating businesses that have created special offers for customers who are taking advantage of mid-winter holiday breaks, Valentine's and President's Day. Some of the members contributing to the Open House are The Local Market and Kitchen of Surf City, Tasty Cheesecakes of Manahawkin , Small Cakes Cupcakery of Beach Haven, and with Tea Parties to Go of Waretown who will display their Sweetheart tea collection along with variety of tea and chocolate tastings. Anyone stopping into the open house will be eligible for a Chocolate Week Basket that will be drawn at 3pm on 2/14/18.

Chocolate Week features participating member businesses with special offers happening throughout the week.

*Spend a great afternoon at the Seaport learning to make delicious chocolate candies! We'll be making molded chocolates, chocolate bark with mix-ins, and dipped treats.
