FORT MYERS, Fla. - Jan. 21, 2018 - PRLog -- The School District of Lee County is coming to University of South Florida's (USF) Spring 2018 Career & Internship Fair Week to participate in the Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math (STEM) Fair, to be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 1 at the Phyllis P. Marshall Student Center Ballroom, located at 4103 Cedar Circle in Tampa.

During the STEM Fair, USF students and alumni interested in a career in education will have an opportunity to meet with representatives from the District and learn more about the Lee County school system and eligibility requirements for future employment.

The District is currently hiring for the upcoming 2018-19 school year, and a variety of teaching positions are available within the District for grades K-5, special education, science and mathematics, and reading and language arts. The District offers a competitive and comprehensive compensation plan for its employees, and provides teachers with access to support and resources that promote success. The starting compensation package of $52,984 encompasses salary, medical coverage and life insurance, pension and investment plan contributions, and social security and Medicare employer contributions. A relocation bonus may be available to assist with moving to the area.
