Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Xi Mu Zeta Chapter Celebrates Women with Phenomenal Sisterhood
By: Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. - Xi Mu Zeta Chapter
During the event, Xi Mu Zeta Chapter will recognize three women for achievements in their chosen fields: civic engagement, medicine and entrepreneurship. The honorees are: Attorney Kimberly M. Foxx, Tonja Austin, MD and Ms. Javondlynn Dunagan. Ms. Foxx is the first African American woman to lead the Cook County State's Attorney's Office; Dr. Austin serves as Medical Staff President of Franciscan Health, Olympia Fields – Chicago Heights; and Ms. Dunagan is the owner of JMD Defense & Investigation. These three women share their talents throughout the community.
This event will be hosted by Darlene Hill, former anchor of Good Day Chicago.
"We are enthusiastic to be honoring these three women who are doing so many great things in their fields. They are setting the bar for our youth to aspire and reach. They will leave their foot prints for our youth to follow. Who better for the youth to follow?" said Tiffany Clemmons, Journey 2020 Chairperson, Xi Mu Zeta Chapter.
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Xi Mu Zeta Chapter was chartered in March 1989 by twenty-two women, linked by a common goal to support their community and to uphold the ideals of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
