Peabody Properties' Adriana Villegas of Chicopee Earns CPO Designation

BRAINTREE, Mass. - Jan. 16, 2018 - PRLog -- Full-service real estate and property management firm Peabody Properties (http://www.peabodyproperties.com) is pleased to announce that Adriana Villegas of Chicopee has earned her Certified Professional of Occupancy^TM (CPO^TM) designation through the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA).

Villegas is the Recertification Specialist for Pynchon Apartments in Springfield.  Candidates for the designation must enroll in the three-day Certified Professional of Occupancy course, offered by NAHMA, and pass the CPO exam.  The CPO course is the only comprehensive program covering the entire HUD Handbook, including the latest revisions.  Topics covered include eligibility criteria, standards, tenant selection and screening, non-discrimination, allowances, adjusted income, certifying tenants and annual recertification.  The CPO is also a requirement for NAHMA's NAHP^® (National Affordable Housing Professional) designation program.
