Israeli PM's Indian Visit: India-Israel sign Seven MoU's for biz development

The two PM's agreed that renewed efforts were needed to realize the full potential for bilateral trade & investment

INDORE, India - Jan. 16, 2018 - PRLog -- Indian and Israeli organizations on Monday signed seven Memorandum-of-Understanding (MoU) for business development at India-Israel Business.
India and Israel has pledged to fight against terror as the two countries sought to broad base their association on the silver jubilee of the establishment of their diplomatic ties.
PM Narendra Modi inviting Israeli organizations/companies to take benefit of the liberalized FDI regime in the defence sector and the two countries also emphasized the need for working towards Free Trade & Bilateral Investment treaties.
On the second day of his 6-day visit to India, Israel PM Shri Benjamin Netanyahu held discussions with PM Narendra Modi, after which the two sides reached agreements in diverse fields including a MoU on Cyber Security Cooperation.
Israeli Prime Minister's India visit is a historic occasion since he is only the second Israeli leader to come to India since Ariel Sharon's visit in 2003. Netanyahu is escorted by a 130-member delegation including of individuals from agriculture, cyber & defence sectors.
