Fifth-annual event inspires and encourages attendees to stand up for truth, justice and righteousness
By: I Grow Chicago
"The work of Martin Luther King, Jr. is critically important to the Englewood community, and this year the event is inspired by this passage: I could hear my inner voice saying to me: Martin Luther, stand up for truth. Stand up for justice. Stand up for righteousness."
Interested parties are welcome to attend the free event at the Peace Campus at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 15, located at 6402 S. Honore St. in Chicago.
Attendees will have an opportunity to participate in yoga led by Karampal Kaur of Sat Nam Yoga, sound therapy, art, a discussion of the life and work of Martin Luther King, Jr. and lunch.
