Dream Giveaway's 1,000-PLUS Horsepower HellScat Gets a New Nickname: "The Demon Slayer"

GRAVETTE, Ark. - Jan. 22, 2018 - PRLog -- Beating Dodge's new Demon Challenger is no easy feat, but Dream Giveaway Garage, the team behind the 2017 Challenger Dream Giveaway brought to you by Reliable Carriers, Inc., says their new HellScat will leave the Dodge Demon in the dust.

"No doubt the Dodge Demon is a formidable muscle car, but it can't keep up with the HellScat, a Challenger based supercar built in cooperation with the king of drag racing 'Big Daddy' Don Garlits.," says Dream Giveaway's Director of Communications Christopher R. Phillip.

Powered by a Whipple-supercharged MOPAR 6.2L HEMI engine, the HellScat boasts more power and performance than the Demon.

In scientific testing, Dream Giveaway's HellScat put 945 horsepower to the rear tire—1000-plus horsepower at the crank—earning it the name, "DEMON SLAYER!" In comparison, the Dodge Demon advertises 840 horsepower at the crank, which translates to 700 horsepower at the rear wheels. Likewise, the HellScat's extreme torque output leaves the Dodge Demon in second place.

Dream Giveaway's HellScat is a high-horsepower salute to the Dodge Scat Pack racing team of the late '60s and early '70s. Under the hood is a 4.5 liter Whipple supercharger, the not-so-secret ingredient, which elevates the HellScat's output to 1000-plus horsepower. Dream Giveaway Garage also upgraded the factory driveshaft to a heavy-duty unit from Drive Shaft Shop and shod the factory mag wheels with Nitto drag radials.

The HellScat—the only one in the world—was track tested and autographed by 17-time NHRA National Champion "Big Daddy"Don Garlits.
