Book of poetry by 42 contributors across the UK is launched on 27th January

BRISTOL, U.K. - Jan. 12, 2018 - PRLog -- Lyrically Justified (Vol 2) seamlessly weaves poems on social injustice with racial inequalities and even the impacts of climate change. This is a book that will inspire and build hope for future generations, for it succeeds where so many other books fail: drawing in people from diverse backgrounds, who are otherwise excluded or marginalised.

The collection brings together voices from across the UK, from Bristol to Scotland. They include: Charmaine Laurence, Cleo Lake, Dareece James, Hannah Teasedale, Jasmine Ketibuah Foley, Miles Chambers, Rana Jai Rajput, Razor, Nattylyn Jeffers, Roger Griffith, Saju Iqbal Ahmed and Sukina Douglas - to name a few. They are artists, entrepreneurs, musicians and students who have various achievements in their own rights, such as acclaimed national performances, poetry awards and published works. It is their talent that has brought them together to create this volume.

Lead editor and compiler Shaun Clarke, who lives in Bristol, has commented: "With great pride we present these unconventional anthologies, exploring our diverse UK cultures. Such apt voices represent a new and inclusive intersection in contemporary poetry."

There will be a launch event at Bristol Waterstones (Union Street) on 27th January, between 7 and 9pm. Contributors will be present to read out their work and books will be available for signing.
