Heather Hoskins Recognized for Strong Leadership, Community Involvement, & Customer Commitment

SAINT CLOUD, Minn. - Jan. 9, 2018 - PRLog -- GeoComm Controller Heather Hoskins was recently recognized by Minnesota Business Magazine and the St. Cloud Times.  Named by Minnesota Business Magazine's 2018 Women Who Lead: Empowering Future Leaders, Heather is an outstanding role model to fellow GeoComm employees and encourages them to be active members in their community.  Heather's own extensive volunteering mentality is one of the elements that also lead to her being selected for the St. Cloud Times 5 Under 40 Award which recognizes savvy leadership in both business and the community.

As a member of GeoComm's executive team, Heather leads by example and helps shape the company's culture, encouraging fellow employees to spend time volunteering.  Over the last several years GeoComm's community involvement has steadily increased and the work culture empowers employees to volunteer throughout the year at various events and on committees.

Heather's dedication to fellow employees and the community, carries over to ensuring our customers realize on-going satisfaction.  As a strong GeoComm leader, Heather is committed to developing a culture of innovation by helping fellow employees think of new and creative ways to solve our customers problems.

"We nominated Heather for three reasons.  First of all, Heather is the glue that keeps GeoComm together.  Within GeoComm, Heather manages multiple functions, such as Information Technology, Human Resources, Finance, Contract Management, and Administration.  Second, Heather is extremely involved in the community.  She is engaged with organizations such as the Salvation Army and St. Cloud State University.  The one that she is most involved in is the United Way.  The third reason we nominated her is because she is a great mentor.  She cares about people, she engages with our team and she wants to pay it forward," John Bryant GeoComm President/CEO.

Recipients of the Women Who Lead and 5 Under 40 awards are nominated by fellow community members and then selected by a committee who values the actions, accomplishments and insights each of them bring to their communities and workplace.  Heather will be officially recognized for these awards at receptions and programs later in January.
