Cape Coral Arts And Music festival Announces Featured Artist, Jen Callahan

CAPE CORAL, Fla. - Jan. 9, 2018 - PRLog -- The Cape Coral Arts and Music Festival, hosted by the Rotary Club of Cape Coral on January 13 and 14, announces Jen Callahan as this year's featured artist. Callahan is the first ever repeated featured artist in the festival's 33-year history. She was originally recognized in 2015.

Callahan, who works with water-based paint on paper and canvas, is a noted wildlife painter, capturing beauty and movement of marine animals. The Cape Coral Arts and Music Festival, Southwest Florida's largest juried art show, features paintings, sculptures, mixed media, jewelry and more by over 300 artists and artisans from around the country. Callahan's work was selected from the competitive pool of exhibitors by the Festival committee, and is prominently featured on the event poster. The event poster will be sold for $20 at the festival and online at CapeCoralFestival.com.

The Cape Coral Arts and Music Festival will take place on Saturday, Jan. 13, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with live music performances on Saturday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. The festival, held on Cape Coral Parkway in downtown Cape Coral, runs between Del Prado Boulevard and SE 10th Place. Admission and parking are free for Festival attendees.
