Snell & Wilmer Elects Four New California Partners and Counsel

ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. - Jan. 8, 2018 - PRLog -- Snell & Wilmer's California offices are pleased to announce Colin R. Higgins was elected to join the firm's partnership and Andrew S. Flior, Erin Denniston Leach and Jasmin Yang were elected to counsel, effective January 1, 2018.

Snell & Wilmer's newly elected California partner is:
• Colin R. Higgins is a 2009 graduate of Loyola University School of Law and is a commercial litigator in the Orange County office. Higgins started as a summer associate with Snell & Wilmer in 2008 and has been with the firm ever since. He is a member of the Orange County Hiring Committee and Co-Chair of the Litigation Training Committee. In his community, Higgins is an Emerging Leaders Council member for the Orange County United Way and is on the Board of Directors for The First Tee of Orange County, which provides character building and life-skills lessons to kids through the game of golf.

Snell & Wilmer's newly elected California counsel are:
• Andrew S. Flior is a 2009 graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law and has a bachelor's degree in physics from the University of Chicago. Flior was a summer associate with Snell & Wilmer in 2008, and after interning at the San Diego District Attorney's Office, joined the Orange County intellectual property practice group, where he has experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications as well as intellectual property litigation. He has litigation experience in patent and trademark matters at the U.S. District Court level, and in patent matters before the International Trade Commission. Flior is a current member of the Orange County Hiring Committee.

• Erin Denniston Leach is a 2006 graduate of the University of California Hastings College of Law and has been with Snell & Wilmer ever since. Her practice is concentrated in employment litigation and counseling in the Orange County office. She provides clients with ongoing counseling on a wide range of personnel matters including hiring and termination decisions, employment agreements, policy drafting, wage and hour issues, and employee medical leave. Leach was named a Southern California Rising Star for Employment Litigation in 2013-2016, as well as one of Los Angeles Magazine's Top Women Attorneys in 2016. In the office, Leach sits on the Orange County Hiring Committee and is Co-Chair of the Litigation Training Committee. • Jasmin Yang is a 2005 graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School. Yang practices bankruptcy, insolvency and business reorganization in the Los Angeles office. She has experience in a variety of bankruptcy-related topics including preference prosecution and defense, claims objection litigation, plan confirmation proceedings, receiverships, workouts, collection and recovery, and appeals and she is admitted in both California and Arizona.
