Bobbitt Finishes Design and Construction for ENT/Allergy Practice in Columbia

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Jan. 4, 2018 - PRLog -- Bobbitt Design Build, a commercial design-build firm with operations in the Midlands, recently completed construction on a new medical office building for SouthEastern Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Allergy and Sleep Disorders Institute located in Pinnacle Point Business Park near Providence Northeast Hospital.

"In late 2016, I decided that I needed expand my practice in the Northeast Columbia area. Our practice draws patients not just from the Midlands but from several surrounding counties – including the upstate. The only way this would be possible was to construct my own medical office building, which could allow an expansion of the diverse medical services we provide." said practice owner Dr. Chad Gunnlaugsson, who was referred to Bobbitt by several commercial real estate professionals.

The over 5,400-square-foot medical office is now home to Dr. Gunnlaugsson's thriving ENT and allergy practice where he can serve his staff and growing patient base. In the new location, the practice provides general ear, nose and throat care as well as full allergy services (including allergy testing and shots), audiological exams and hearing aid dispensing and complete sleep medicine treatment with a focus on obstructive sleep apnea and CPAP dispensing.

The new SouthEastern ENT office features a large windowed waiting room, an integrated nursing station, multiple exam rooms with separate allergy testing/shot areas, audiology consulting rooms, a central billing office, and expandability with multiple private physician offices.

Bobbitt incorporated several design elements to create the building's aesthetically pleasing look and charm. Meeting the design criteria established for the planned development, the building exterior blends stacked stone, stucco, high-end glasswork and brick veneer with soldiered and row locked details.
