The challenge was inspired by Tribeca-Grand's desire to unite people and to create awareness around their song "Take A Knee (http://smarturl.it/
The group felt affirmed Sunday when they heard comedian Dave Chappelle speak in support of those who take a stand in his new Netflix special. "When we heard Chappelle echo exactly what we were thinking, it was like confirmation from the Gods," Tribeca-Grand says. "We were doing something that needed to be done. To hear that from an icon just hours before we were set to launch was incredible. It also gives us the inspiration for another hashtag #DiscourseNotDiscord."
