SCORE Westchester Chapter Awarded Platinum Status for 4th Year in a Row

Nonprofit Volunteer Organization Helps Entrepreneurs Launch & Grow Their Businesses

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - Dec. 27, 2017 - PRLog -- For the fourth year in a row, SCORE Westchester has received the highest Chapter rating possible, the Platinum Award.  To earn the Platinum Award, a chapter must perform well in over twenty categories, including operations, finance, ethics, leadership, sustainability and chapter growth. SCORE district directors review all chapters annually.

"All of our volunteers are very proud that our chapter has achieved Platinum status for the fourth consecutive year," said Richard Feldman, SCORE Westchester chairman. "We are even more proud, however, of our clients' achievements and the growth of their businesses."

SCORE Westchester has enjoyed impressive growth as well. Over the past twelve months, the number of volunteer small business mentors has increased by 15%. These business mentors provided services to over 900 individual clients, and more than 4,700 individuals attended 90+ educational workshops.
