East Tennessee Author Writes and Illustrates Rhyming Children's Book

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - Dec. 20, 2017 - PRLog -- Jan-Carol Publishing, Inc. is proud to announce the release of The Crayon (W)Rapper by Tennessee author, Cheryl Livingston.

Livingston is a native of North Carolina now living in East Tennessee with her husband and their rescue dog, Gracie. A lover of art since childhood, Livingston draws, paints, and even creates stained glass art with her husband. With retirement approaching, she plans to spend much of her time on Watauga Lake with her camera in hand.

The Crayon (W)Rapper is Livingston's first children's book. The story follows Green, a cheery crayon known as The Crayon Rapper. Green uses rhyming patterns in a rap music beat to describe the adventures of his multi-hued pals. Livingston encourages parents and children reading The Crayon (W)Rapper to dance and sing out loud as they make their way through the story.
