Get in the spirit of Christmas with Mall Concert

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - Dec. 15, 2017 - PRLog -- Christmas songs go along with snowy landscapes and holiday cheer.

Join Leonard Dozier – singer, actor, and voice actor – when he presents a Mall Concert of Christmas melodies for those milling around or doing last-minute shopping.

The concert takes place at the Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing, N.J., on Tuesday, December 19, from 6-8 p.m.

The singer, accompanied by his Leonard Dozier Experience Band, will offer such holiday standards as "Have Yourself a Merry, Merry Christmas," "The Christmas Song," and "My Favorite Things." But Dozier will also introduce a new song he wrote himself," Christmas Kind of Way." The composition will appear on his upcoming album, "Sunday Word," to be released in April 2018.

"It's my fourth album," said the singer. "It is gospel for the times – relating to love, spirituality, and humanity

Several of Dozier's songs – including "Nothing Sweeter" and "This Thanksgiving" – have played on radio.

Admission to the Mall Concert – which will be an informal, unseated event – is free.

For those unable to attend the concert in person, Stageit, an online venue for live interactive and virtual concerts, will provide a link so they can enjoy they it in their living rooms or anywhere.

"Those opening the link can pay what they will," said Dozier, who is donating 50 percent of the proceeds to families in need in the New Jersey area.

Dozier, a SAG-AFTRA member, has close to 20 years of performing experience.

In addition to his stage appearances, Dozier is a principal actor – alongside Lea Michele, Jim Belushi, and Patrick Stewart – in the Hollywood animation movie "Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return." He also can be seen in the film "Turning Point" with Ernie Hudson and Todd Bridges and the Emmy-winning "Fever: 1793," which premiered on ABC in April 2012.

Dozier, one of the top voice over coaches in the country, is an ADDY-award winner as the official voice of Boomtown Casino.
