Cavignac & Associates Names Linda Lopez as Employee Benefits Department Account Administrator

SAN DIEGO - Dec. 13, 2017 - PRLog -- Linda Lopez, a 20-plus-year veteran of the insurance industry, has been appointed account administrator of Cavignac & Associates' Employee Benefits Department, announced Jeffrey W. Cavignac, CPCU, RPLU, CRIS, company principal and founder.

         In her new post, Lopez assists the Employee Benefits Department account manager with the daily service activities for each client's benefit offerings.  She is responsible for assisting with RFPs and the preparation of quotations for new and renewal coverage; preparing open enrollment material and ordering supplies from carriers; preparing spreadsheets, presentations and proposals for new and renewal business; developing packages of material for open enrollment meetings; and handling open enrollment meetings as requested.

         Prior to joining Cavignac & Associates (http://www.cavignac.com/), Lopez was the underwriting and customer support manager for Personable General Insurance Agency, Inc., in San Diego, where she was employed for 10 years.  There she managed the underwriting and customer support team and served as the company liaison with the Department of Insurance in multiple states.  She also served as the company representative for compliance-related issues.

         While at Personable General Insurance Agency, Lopez completed Special Investigation Unit training, Personal Auto Insurance training, and Leadership Development and Management training.  She also completed Fraud Awareness and Integral Anti-Fraud training while employed with that firm.

         Previous work experience includes having served as the internal marketing representative for Arrowhead General Insurance Agency, located in San Diego, where she serviced the company's Texas office.

         Born and raised in Chicago, Lopez currently resides in the master-planned community of Eastlake in Chula Vista, Calif., with her husband, Leon Lopez.  They have three children, ages 26, 23 and 19.  In her leisure time, she trains for and runs in 5K, 7K, 10K and half-marathons.  She also enjoys beach and water activities such as canoeing, kayaking, and standup paddle boarding.
