Dave Koz & Friends 20th Anniversary Christmas Hits #1 and Dave Koz Makes Television Film Debut
"After 20 years of sold-out Christmas tours and five celebrated holiday albums within as many years, saxophonist Dave Koz has done his share—and then some—to help to make the season bright." Parade
Koz, a nine-time Grammy nominated jazz saxophonist, stars as himself in Hallmark's brand new TV film, Sharing Christmas. The movie follows Anna (Ellen Hollman), a New York City real estate agent who is trying to buy an apartment building in Manhattan, but there is a problem – one tenant is holding out, a handsome Christmas shop owner.
Koz is the Christmas King and celebrates 20 years with a national tour in support of Dave Koz & Friends 20th Anniversary Christmas, released on September 29, 2017 via Concord Records. The new album features brand new recordings of classic Christmas songs with some of the artists from the original tour.
With a career that spans more than a quarter century, nine Grammy nods, and nine No. 1 albums on the Billboard Current Contemporary Jazz Albums chart, Koz is considered one of the top recording artists in his category. In addition to becoming a nationally recognized name and industry respected recording artist, Koz is also host to his weekly, nationally syndicated Dave Koz Radio Show, which has been on air for the past 20 years, as well as the Dave Koz Lounge on Sirius XM, and Dave Koz & Friends Radio on JazzRadio.com. Koz is also no newcomer to the screen having starred in Desperate Housewives and Family Matters.
