CHESHIRE, Conn. - Dec. 6, 2017 - PRLog -- Eating at Yougu Hibachi and Sushi Lounge offers your palate the opportunity to experience the finest Asian fusion food. The restaurant boasts a three-part menu- a Sushi bar, full dinner menu, and a Hibachi menu in addition to a full bar serving signature cocktails, a wide selection of sake, an extensive wine list, as well as local craft beers. Take-out is also available as is catering. Owners, John and Aaron Chen and Calvin Tam, opened the restaurant October 16, 2017, at 195 Highland Ave, Cheshire, CT (Maplecroft Plaza, next to Marshalls) but it is not their first restaurant - it's their sixth. Others are in the Hartford area and Massachusetts.

Calvin said they have extremely high standards when it comes to cuts of beef, chicken, and seafood Only organic free-range chicken and grass-fed all-natural beef are served along with the freshest seafood available on the market. Even the rice, Tamaki Gold Rice, is top notch.

Some of the signature dishes you'll want to try are the Tuna Pizza, Kobe Beef Dumplings, Toro (fatty tuna), Sashimi, live sea scallops, and Wild Alaskan King Salmon. Perhaps you'd like an Autumn-of-Connecticut roll, or a Spicy Rams roll (named after the mascot for Cheshire High School).

If you can't make up your mind, order the Sushi and Sashimi Omakase or Sake Braised Short Rib. Old stand-byes, such as General Tso's Chicken and NY Strip are also available.

A separate room is where you'll find the hibachi grills. This room seats 72 people, has two 60-inch monitors and is available for parties and meetings. The hibachi menu offers single entrées and entrée combinations. The Deluxe Combination offers a Filet Mignon, Lobster and Shrimp combination. Here you will also find a children's menu.
