Red-E-Rentals is a Drop-Off Point for Needy Kids Coats and Toys

COSTA MESA, Calif. - Dec. 5, 2017 - PRLog -- The owner of Red-E-Rentals and City Councilwoman Katrina Foley are like a lot of people who want to be sure local children have warm coats to wear this winter and new toys to play with at Christmas.

One of the goals of Katrina Foley's Annual Holiday Soirée & Charity Drive is to collect coats and toys during December each year, and distribute all items locally to less fortunate children in the community.

This year Foley is asking folks to donate NEW kids coats so we can reach our 100 NEW coats for kids goal to donate to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast.

Foley's holiday soiree, now in its ninth year, is scheduled for December 14th at the Holiday on West 19th Street.  The event is a campaign fundraiser for Foley and includes a silent auction benefiting the Costa Mesa Firefighters Association's charity fund.

Everyone who attends the Holiday Soirée this year on December 14th at the Holiday, 719 W. 19th Street, Costa Mesa, receives a chance to win a fun prize. Attendees could win a dinner at a local favorite restaurant, fine wines or champagne, spa treatments, and more. The fun begins at 6pm.

Admission to the  Holiday Soirée is $25 plus a new kids coat or toy -- includes a drink ticket, entry into drawing, and delicious appetizers and treats from local area restaurants.

About Katrina Foley

As Mayor of the City Costa Mesa (2016-2017), Foley led the city council with a goal of restoring civility during the meetings, including all voices in the public discussions, launching listening tours in our town, working toward unanimous decisions that consider a diverse council, working to restore our depleted police and fire department staffing so residents and neighborhoods would be safer, and lobbying Sacramento and the County to address the impacts and abuses of bad neighbor recovery homes and the Costa Mesa homeless crisis.

Under Foley's leadership a committee was formed charged with developing plans to make the city more walkable and bike friendly. And the Cultural Arts Committee is working on a Master Plan for the Arts. Foley led the rally as she welcomed the NFL Chargers to the Costa Mesa community which they have embraced.
