Top 100 Accountancy Firm Welcomes New Partner
After more than ten years Will Smart has returned to Cottons Chartered Accountants
Will Smart F.C.A is now returning to Cottons Chartered Accountants as a partner based at the Northampton branch after originally training with the firm in the 1990s before then pursuing a career outside practice, eventually acting as a Chief Financial Officer. In 2003, a return to practice saw him set up his own accountancy firm in London, which he successfully built and eventually sold. Will has remained in general practice since this time, and returned to his team and clients at Cottons as a partner in 2017.
Will's key aims now that he has returned to Cottons Chartered Accountants is to assist small business owners and taxpayers in driving profitability and reducing tax. Through careful planning and a practical approach, he aims to increase wealth generation and retention. His general interests include countering the current Government's tax attacks on small owner-managed business and residential landlords.
Nick Warne, Managing Partner at Cottons, is pleased to welcome Will back to the team and has commented,
'Will is now the fifth Partner that has trained with Cottons and part of his duties will be to oversee the progress of our training students. Will's knowledge of all matters accounting will undoubtedly add to the Cottons Brand'.
