The National Food Sport Competition Closes the 2017 Season with The Sip + Bite Battle to Bring Awareness to The Charity Fighting Hunger Fight2Feed
KANSAS CITY (12/ 4, 2017) - Culinary Fight Club, the national cooking competition, hosts its fourth annual Sip + Bite Competition in three cities in 2017.  Chefs compete to create the perfect pair up of drink and plate for the coveted Culinary Fight Club Trophy, Chef Coat, 2018 World Food Championship Golden Ticket and the Invite to compete in the 2018 Culinary Fight Fest/The Final Plate battle in Chicago.

The 2017 Season finale event kicks off in Kansas City at Eggtc. (5107 Main St, Kansas City, MO) on 12/ 7 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with the next epic fight in Omaha, NE at Dudley's Pizza & Tavern (2110 S 67th St, Omaha, NE) on 12/ 11 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and the season closes in Chicago at Barn & Company (950 W Wrightwood Ave, Chicago, IL) on 12/ 18 from       6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The 12/ 7 event in Kansas City will highlight four local chefs; Chef Sam Neenan, Executive Chef of Minsky's Pizza, Chef Tim McIntosh, Executive Chef at Cluster Truck, Chef Breck Hatcher, Executive Chef of YaYa's Euro Bistro and Chef Nate Gonterman Sous Chef at District Pour House + Kitchen.  Judges are three time Culinary Fight Club Champion John Magno of District Pour House + Kitchen and Dave Elliott, Pitmaster at Porky McBeef and the Cluckers BBQ Team and Owner at PMB Barbecue Co.

Sponsors for the events include Reinhart Foodservice, Woodford Reserve,  Bull Outdoor Grill, Sam Adams, Minskey's  Pizza, Eggtc, Dudley's Pizza and Barn & Company.

Tickets for the events are $40 and available to purchase on Eventbrite. Each ticket helps fund Fight2Feed, a non-profit that aims to feed the hungry.  Kansas City will host the first KC Fight2Feed mission in January 2018.  20% of all Culinary Fight Club ticket sales go to support Fight2Feed. To date the organization to fight hunger has shared over 50,000 meals in Chicago and Atlanta.
