LOS ANGELES - Nov. 30, 2017 - PRLog -- What inspired you to first become a designer?

I have always had a love for fashion and music since I was seven years old. I would make my own clothes and get inspired by french designers. Music plays a big part with my inspiration to help me design my collections, because it's all about feeling. I want my customers to feel great wearing Adonis King Collection, but at the same time the garments is a stamp of what people are currently wearing.

Who are some of your mentors? or designers you look up to?

Phillip Bloch has been an amazing supporter and mentor to me, I truly respect his vision and what he contribute to fashion. One of my favorite designers that I look up to is Alexander McQueen his designs were all iconic and he didn't just make clothes, but he had a world and a story that went with them. Thats what makes him great and unforgettable.

Your line debuted at NYFW and then in LA? Tell us about that experience.

NYFW and LA was an amazing experience for me as a designer that comes from making accessories. It was definitely an eye opener, learning how the different fabrics move down the runway. I love that fashion is very learn as you go, but you have to be a  fast learner.

What has been your most popular item so far?

The most popular item is the chasing time sunglasses so many celebrities from Beyonce, Amber Rose, and Shaun Ross has worn them. Other popular items are the Grace and Jasmine gown that Big Brother UK star Georgina Leigh and Dance Moms Nia Sioux has worn.

How would you describe your style?

My style truly depends on how I feel on that day. Somtimes I love to wear all black because it shows my blonde hair even more and other times I love to look very animated with pops of color. I recently have been obsessed with matte black with gold or silver trim.

You currently create sunglasses, handbags and both gowns and more funky lifestyle wear? What's next?

I would love to collaborate more in 2018 or get into more TV, maybe showing all the madness designers go through before fashion shows. Honestly only time will tell and I'm amazed how people have already accepted the KINGDOM SS18 collection.

You started out on the east coast. Why LA to further your career?

First, Who doesn't want to live in LA! I love that LA has so much creative freedom, you can walk down the street and find inspiration. The people are so open minded on the west coast then the east coast and I love that. It so many people here in LA that have the same passion for fashion I have and I can finally connect with them. It is very important to be open minded to different cultures and learn what people love, thats what makes a successful fashion brand.

You said you were influenced by Paris fashion more so than American, how so?

I always think about the business side of fashion before I start to design something. Fast fashion is big in the U.S. and for Paris they see buying designer clothes as an investment. We make sure that all of our garments are quality over quantity. Our customer loves that they can buy something that will last them a life time like a memory. Each Adonis King Collection pieces is handmade from the gowns to the handbags and sunglasses.

If you could dress any celeb, who would it be and why?

I would love to dress Bella Hadid. I think she is so beautiful and she would definitely look amazing in Adonis King Collection.
