Pushing the Envelope's 7th Annual "CAN IT! Campaign" a Success

More Than 2.000 Food Items Donated to the Community Cooperative

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Nov. 30, 2017 - PRLog -- On Nov. 16, Pushing the Envelope, Inc. completed its 7th Annual CAN IT! Campaign to put hunger in its place in Southwest Florida. The campaign collected 2,064 non-perishable food items for the Community Cooperative, Inc. (CCI), exceeding the 1,750-item goal.

With the support of many community members and local businesses, Pushing the Envelope, Inc. collected more than 1,600 pounds of non-perishable food items. With the completion of this campaign, the CAN IT! Campaign has donated thousands of items amounting to more than 7,600 pounds of food to CCI to date.

The success of the CAN IT! Campaign was primarily due to area businesses who helped collect non-perishable items. The participating locations included:
