The £33 Billion Legal Services Market In Need Of Analytical Insight

Data analytics the key to success in this competitive market

COVENTRY, U.K. - Nov. 27, 2017 - PRLog -- UK legal services companies generated sales of £32.8 billion in the year to September 2017, compared with £31.6 billion in the year to September 2016. However, both barristers and solicitors saw their sales decline meaning all the growth was confined to "other" services.  In this environment, barristers at law and solicitor firms need the insight and data to drive their sales forward and control their costs.

It is this highly competitive legal market that IRN Research has launched its Legal Analytics service. Run in partnership with Premonition AI, the service offers analysis of legal decisions in all the UK High Courts and selected courts overseas. The service offers data from and access to Premonition AI's artificial intelligence system, that has read all cases in the High Court and selected overseas courts, generating a database of almost 150,000 UK High Court cases. Data from the High Courts in England & Wales have been electronically crawled, subjected to statistical analysis, categorised and, finally, subjected to human scrutiny. Worldwide our partnership with Premonition means our clients will have access to the world's largest legal database, covering countries and jurisdictions where court results are digitally available.  The UK data is less than 1% of the total Premonition international legal database. Premonition holds similar data for the US, Canada, the Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand and India with more being added. It is the world's largest litigation database.
