SAO PAULO - Nov. 22, 2017 - PRLog -- Brazil has a strong participation in the world scenario of agroindustry. The country stands out, among other things, for the export of important inputs such as coffee and soybeans. However, Brazilians have faced challenging moments in recent years due to political and economic instability.

Despite the recent downturn, the Brazilian economy is showing that it is in a recovery pace. A good example of this is the data collected in October, when exports of the sector totaled US$ 8.02 billion and showed 39.9% of growth over September.

The imports, in turn, fell 5.5%, totaling US$ 1.14 billion. With this result, surplus went from US$ 4.53 billion to US$ 6.89 billion in the period.

Among the products that had a greater participation in this advance, stand out those of vegetal origin with 78.1% of the volume exported in October. In dollars, these inputs correspond to US$ 6.27 billion, while animal products totaled US$ 1.75 billion.

In first place of Brazilian exports, there is the soybean complex, especially the grain, that added up US $ 939.26 million. In the second position, there is the meat category, with a sum of US $ 1.42 billion. In this regard, poultry meat had a growth in exports of 24.4% comparing to October 2016 and beef increased by 38.1% in the same period.

Another highlight about the animal products was the record reached in October. There were more than 335,24 thousand tons of chicken meat and 119,08 thousand tons of beef sold in October.

With respect to the main buyers of Brazilian agribusiness products, Asia remains the largest exponent. In October, Asians increased imports of Brazilian inputs by 56.5%, generating about US$ 3.30 billion.

In view of this economic improvement, especially the growth of Brazilian agribusiness, many investors in the country have looked for ways to take advantage of this positive wave. One of the possibilities that has everything to do with the agricultural sector are the Agribusiness Credit Letters, popularly known by the portuguese acronym LCA.
