BALTIMORE - Feb. 22, 2018 - PRLog -- The Wise Penny thrift store, located at 5902 York Road, will be holding  its highly anticipated antique sale on Saturday, February 24 (10am-5pm) and Sunday, February 25 (12-5pm). Antiques include collectibles, artwork (framed and unframed), decorative vintage items and household trinkets.

Customers are also invited to attend a preview party on Friday, February 23 from 6-8pm. A $25 ticket includes first access to all items, as well as complimentary beverages and hors d'oeuvres. Tickets are available at

When you buy something at the Treasures Sale, you can feel good knowing that your purchase is good for you AND for the community, " said Ashley Chalmers, JLB President.

In addition, raffle tickets for a Shinola watch ("The Canfield", retail $700) are being sold. The watch is 38MM with black leather strap, gray mother of pearl face, and gold case. It is hand made in Detroit using the finest US and imported parts and assembled by U.S. workers.

The Wise Penny is a community thrift store owned and operated by the Junior League of Baltimore, a women's civic leadership organization focused on improving the community. The shop provides quality new and gently used clothing and household items at affordable prices. Since opening in 1970, The Wise Penny has raised over $2.5 million to support the Junior League and its programs. Clothing and household donations are accepted during all business hours.
