By: United Premier Soccer League Based in Indianapolis (Ind.), USAi Old Bhoys will begin UPSL play in the Midwest Conference and host its home games at 5,200-seat Kuntz Memorial Soccer Stadium (1502 West 16th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202) in compliance with UPSL's Minimum Standards. United Premier Soccer League Commissioner Yan Skwara said, "The UPSL's new Midwest Conference is going to be extremely competitive in 2018, and we welcome USAi Old Bhoys to this terrific group of teams. Andy Hayes and the USAi Old Bhoys ownership group is supportive of the Pro/Rel model, which is our direction as a league. We wish USAi Old Bhoys the best of success as it prepares for kick off in Spring 2018." Operated by President Thomas Geisse and General Manager Andy Hayes, USAi Old Bhoys will be fully integrated with United Soccer Alliance Indiana, which has roots in Indianapolis dating back more than 38 years. USAi Old Bhoys General Manager Andy Hayes said, "We're expanding into the young adult arena and provide a platform for our kids from 4-year-olds to greater than 24. Indianapolis, much like many of the markets in the UPSL, has a lot of things going for it, and really as a group of soccer fans than want to call something their own." United Soccer Alliance of Indiana was formed by four soccer clubs in 2012 to improve the soccer experience for its clubs members, and now represents nearly 3,000 athletes and 50 youth travel teams as one of the largest youth development soccer clubs in Indiana. "The more we talked about the UPSL the more we saw the progressive path with the player development focus, and we wanted a path for our post-college players and our non-college players to keep playing," Hayes said. "This is a great opportunity for a senior team to grow under our umbrella." The team soon will announce its upcoming game schedule.
