United Premier Soccer League Announces Eastern Summit in Philadelphia for January 2018

LOS ANGELES - Nov. 16, 2017 - PRLog -- The United Premier Soccer League today announced it will host the UPSL 2018 Eastern Summit on Saturday, Jan. 20, in Philadelphia.

The UPSL 2018 Eastern Summit will be held at the Courtyard Marriott Philadelphia South at The Navy Yard Marriott Franklin Hall 8 & 9 (1001 Intrepid Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19112), from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20.

The UPSL 2018 Eastern Summit will take place less than seven miles from the Pennsylvania Convention Center in downtown Philadelphia, site of the United Soccer Coaches Convention from January 17-21.

The United Soccer Coaches Convention is the single largest soccer convention held annually in the United States, with over 20,000 soccer coaches, players, fans and vendors among the masses expected.

The UPSL will host booth 1210 on the floor of the Pennsylvania Convention Center during the United Soccer Coaches Convention, and officials and representatives from the league will be on hand to talk about the expansive growth of the UPSL, explain the necessary steps to compete in the league and help answer any questions.

The UPSL was formed in 2011 and currently includes more than 100 teams in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Wisconsin. UPSL is the fastest growing Pro Development League in the USA, with 125-plus teams targeted for 2018 Spring Season. Each UPSL team is individually owned and operated, and is responsible for maintaining either UPSL Pro Premier Division or Championship Division minimum standards.

UPSL teams are all eligible to participate in the U.S. Open Cup Qualifying Rounds through the leagues affiliation with the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) and the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA).
