Follow on Google News | Fusion Art Announces the Winners of the 3rd Colorful Abstractions Art ExhibitionBy: Fusion Art For this exhibition, artists were encouraged to share their best artistic interpretation of the "colorful abstractions" The Best in Show winners are Shelley Stroeve for her mixed media on panel with resin, "Ecstasy" and Kathy B. Shapiro for her photograph on aluminum, "Red Light Changing, v1 4/10." Both Shelley and Kathy are Fusion Art's Featured Artists for the month of November 2017 and, as the Best in Show winners, both artists are invited to participate in Fusion Art's 3rd Annual Group Show in Palm Springs in 2018. Other award winners include Second Place winners, Abreesha Jones for her acrylic on canvas, "Balancing Frustration" The remaining finalists in the exhibition, including eight Honorable Mention winners – Eldon Case, Holger Crow, Vasile Ghiuta, Kelly Quinn, Lee Musgrave, Megan Conaty, Allan McDonald and John McManus - all exemplified uniquely creative talents and we are honored to showcase their artwork on the Fusion Art website. The international competition received a diverse collection of quality artwork from artists all around the world, including the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, South Africa, Ireland, Samoa, Switzerland, Mexico, Czech Republic, Phillippines, China and Greece. The exhibition will be featured on the Fusion Art website until November 30, 2017. Founded by Award winning artist, Chris Hoffman, Fusion Art was envisioned and formed out of a passion for art and the artists who create it. The website promotes and connects new, emerging and established artists with collectors and art enthusiasts, while offering the opportunity to participate in art competitions, exhibitions and experiences.
