Baby K'tan, LLC Expands Marketing & Operations Teams
Welcomed on the Operations side is Christeen Figueroa, bringing over 10 years of operations and logistics management experience to the Baby K'tan team. Christeen will help manage order processing, warehousing, and logistics on the back-end system of this growing baby product brand.
Most recently employed with British Airways as an Import Cargo Agent, Christeen managed the logistics of transmitting flights through US Customs. Through her role at British Airways, along with her position at Commodity Forwarders and various other freight forwarding and transport services, Christeen has established an extensive background in logistics and shipping via ocean, air import and export, customs regulations, and warehouse management.

Nicole Hempeck brings a robust background from the pregnancy and parenting space, having worked for companies like BabyCenter and EverydayFamily. Prior to joining Baby K'tan, Nicole was the Head of Content and Social for mom.life, a social app for moms. An experienced Social and Content Marketing Manager, Nicole adds her expertise in influencer strategy, brand management, and content development to the 10-year old company. A military spouse and mom of three, her experience in babywearing also traces back to personal use.
"As a lover of babywearing, I am really looking forward to sharing this beautiful practice with other parents and caregivers through our social and content channels," says Nicole. "I have had the opportunity to work in this industry on the media side, and I am excited to now be able to focus on the product side for a brand and category that I strongly believe in."
Nicole will be joining Baby K'tan VP of Marketing, Tali Scheer, to support the increased marketing demand seen by the brand's continued growth.
Formerly a Baby K'tan customer, Samantha Beckham is the most recent addition to join the brand. She brings along a background in babywearing education and customer service.
Samantha was first introduced to babywearing after the birth of her first daughter in 2014 when she received a Baby K'tan Baby Carrier as a gift. Following a family move to MN in 2015, she began volunteering for Babywearing International, a 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to promote babywearing universally. Initially an Admin for the local Twin Cities chapter, Samantha was soon elected Membership Coordinator to the Board of Directors where she was responsible for membership relations and event planning. Samantha also has a history in customer service, having worked as a Customer Service Representative for the Tampa Bay Times (formerly St. Pete Times) as well as in retail and hospitality. After moving back to South Florida, Samantha joined the Baby K'tan team where she continues to put her extensive babywearing knowledge and customer service background to use.
