"Pastors" Have Let America Slip Away

Bakke cautions people against the teaching that poverty is somehow God-like, pointing out that the Bible's most significant figures were often the wealthiest men on earth. "Abraham, Lot, Job, David and Hezekiah were ridiculously wealthy," says Bakke, "And God, himself, gave Solomon a stunning 25-tons of gold each year, intentionally making Solomon the wealthiest man that would everlive on earth."

Bakke's book is heavily validated with Biblical "chapter and verse" and quotes numerous scriptures about money and finances, including the revelation that pastors are to earn "double the wages" as compared to the rest the world. "It's a Biblical truth,' says Bakke, "I can't figure out what book they are teaching from."
