Central Florida's Masterpiece Design Group Promotes Lauren Parsons To Marketing Director
Parsons, a longtime marketing and branding specialist, will oversee the marketing of Masterpiece's highly-acclaimed Model Merchandising Division which caters to the nation's home building industry

Parsons, who has played a key role in the Division's growth and success since joining the company in 2014, will be responsible for the marketing and support of new business development, as well as the continued expansion of the company's acclaimed model merchandising brand, said Masterpiece President and CEO Christy Scanlon in making the announcement.
"Since joining our company three years ago, Lauren has been instrumental in the continued geographic expansion of our Model Merchandising client base throughout Florida and key markets in the Southeast," says Scanlon. "We will continue to rely on Lauren's experience, expertise and judgement as she takes over this vital aspect of our company's operations."
Parsons, a University of Florida graduate with a degrees in Business Marketing. joined the Masterpiece team in 2014 as Marketing Coordinator for the Model Merchandising Division. Prior to that, she was with national homebuilding giant KB Homes, serving as Marketing Coordinator for the California-based company's Central Florida operations.
"Lauren's experience and perspective from both sides of the marketing and sales spectrum have served her well and we trust will prove valuable in her new and expanded role within the company," notes Scanlon.
Model Merchandising is one of four separate and independent entities operating under Masterpiece's corporate umbrella, which also includes Residential, Commercial and Saturday Models. The Division provides a wide spectrum of services essential for regional and national homebuilders to sell their homes throughout the construction process, including pre-construction floor plan review, space planning, interior architectural detailing, furnishings, and hands-on customer service from inception to installation.
Over the years Masterpiece's Model Merchandising has won nearly 60 industry awards for design and model merchandising excellence, including a prestigious Grand Aurora Award in this summer's Southeast Builders Conference in Orlando and all five Major Achievement In Marketing Excellence Awards (MAME) awards at the 34th annual Greater Orlando Home Builder Association showcase this past September.
The company has provided professional design and model merchandising services for a long line of industry heavyweights, including Kolter Homes, Phoenix Companies, Park Square Homes, Lifestyle Homes, GL Homes, Dream Finders Homes, Greenergy Homes, Dostie Homes, Royal Oaks Homes, AV Homes, Lennar Homes, M/I Homes and Chicago-Based Crown Development Group.
Since launching operations in 1998, Masterpiece has evolved into one of the state's premier multi-faceted design companies. Besides Model Merchandising, MDG also provides design work for boutique hotels, restaurants, offices and public spaces through its Commercial Division and its Saturday Models entity sells furniture, accessories and other items from model homes and new home community closeouts at substantial savings.
