GOLETA, Calif. - Nov. 6, 2017 - PRLog -- The American Flag also known as the Stars and Stripes and Old Glory is getting a very 21st Century look this week just in time for Veteran's Day.

Goleta, California based 3D Printer manufacturing firm is creating a high-tech 3D- Printed version of the Flag and unveiling it in conjunction with their grand opening celebration on Friday, November 10 with a special tribute to the local VFW and to US Veterans across the country.

"It's such an honor to be able to create a new version of the American Flag just in time for Veteran's Day this year," explains Matthieu Regnier, Co-founder and CEO of Dagoma USA. "Not only will the largest 3D Printed American Flag honor those who have served our country, but it is also a symbol of American ingenuity and innovation," he adds.

The tradition of "making" is a very long one for both California and especially the Santa Barbara Coast region. History tells us that the first residents of the area, the Native American Chumash were known not only for the artistry of their beautiful baskets but that their name Chumash translates into "maker of beads" which allowed them to establish a large center for trade and commerce.

The Grand Opening Celebration is set for 11 am to 2 pm at the Dagoma printing plant at 59 S. Patera Lane, Goleta, CA. Mayor Paula Perotte from that city will be there to cut the 3D printed ribbon and join in with a special tribute to local VFW members and invited student veterans from UCSB.

Following the unveiling of the largest 3D Printed Flag ever made, attendees will be offered tours of the 10,000-sq. ft. plant and chance to see 3D Printing in action. A light lunch will be served, and more than a dozen prizes will be given away including a NEVA 3D Printer.

Event attendees will discover that the new 3D version of the American Flag is a very big on; the completed 3D Printed flag will measure more than 117 sq. ft. (13 ft. long by 9 feet wide) and was created with more than 88 pounds of PLA Filament (biodegradable material that is made of starch) by more than twenty 3D Printers working 24/7 for more than 2500 hours to print 1000 red, white and blue squares plus the 3D raised 50 stars and assemble and mount it.

The firm's staff of more than 20 workers, engineers, makers and executives all pitched in to create the largest 3D Printed American Flag in time for the celebration.

The completed 3D Printed flag will travel across the region to schools, museums and trade shows to show the public how powerful 3D Printing can be.

"Our Vision is to see a 3D Printer in every home in the future, so that families can experience the joy and financial rewards of designing and 3D printing their household goods, jewelry, home decorations, toys and replacement parts for appliances and fixtures," CEO Regnier explains.

He points to recent research studies that show owners of 3D Printers can save $2,000 or more every year by 3D Printing at least part of what they use every day. Regnier wants to empower consumers to become creators not just buyers. To us to become creators; not just consumers.

To make the fully-assembled, reedy to use out-of-the-box NEVA 3D printer more affordable, Dagoma is announcing a Grand Opening special of only $249.00 including shipping to Continental US on Prime and on their own website at

"We're proud to offer a quality 3D Delta Style printer that is MADE IN THE USA since it is the only 3D Printer that has its parts printed and is assembled in America," adds Dagoma's Regnier.

Dagoma's national rollout of the NEVA, eco-friendly, easy to use, press one-button, desktop or tabletop 3D printer come after a successful Kickstarter campaign.
