KINGSTON, Mass. - Nov. 3, 2017 - PRLog -- Sacred Heart School (www.sacredheartkingston.com), a private, Catholic, co-educational school in Kingston for students in preschool through grade 12, recently hosted its first annual Trunk or Treat night.

The Halloween themed program, held at Sacred Heart's Elementary School and Early Childhood Center, attracted more than 200 students, along with their parents for an evening of trick or treating, music, pumpkin decoration and a Jack O'Lantern contest.

A highlight of the well-received event was the decorated trunks, with themes ranging from a Girl Scout cookie-eating monster to a soccer themed minivan, a Hawaiian luau to a Star Wars trunk.

The event was made possible through donations from students' families and local businesses including Colonial Ford and Loan Depot, both located in Plymouth.

"Programs such as this serve as a great example of what makes Sacred Heart special," said Interim Elementary School Principal Shaun Morgan. "Our students come from a number of area towns, so creating this sense of community for their families is a priority for the school."
