MEDFORD, Ore. - Nov. 1, 2017 - PRLog -- Forget stuffed squash, pumpkins or zucchini boats —a baked potato is the perfect way to enjoy an entire meal and eat the bowl when you're done.  Wholesome, nutritional and hardy, potatoes are often the side-kick to a great meal.  Southern Oregon's Spoons adds toppings and you can turn your big fat baked potato into a complete, delicious meal with an option to add Vegan or non-Vegan toppings.

Spoons is a popular natural soup and salad restaurant with locations in the heart of Medford's old downtown in the Woolworth building, 33 N. Central; and, at 1254 N.  3rd Street in Central Point. The original, Medford facility is open from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday-through-Friday. Central Point adds a Saturday menu of more than soup with entrees and much more available on weekends.

Spoons offers customers thirty different soups, in a two-week rotation, throughout the winter months. In the summer, five lively cold soups are added to the mix. A typical lunch includes: a soup-of-the-day paired with a unique and beautifully constructed salad; one of several homemade gluten-free breads; a couple of "noshes," and the option to add a really big, "pounder potato," filled with Vegan or non-Vegan toppings.  The menu changes from day-to-day.  Daily menus for both locations are posted on the restaurant's Facebook page.

Spoons in Medford and Central Point, Oregon offers giant baked potatoes filled with a variety of toppings.  For five days a week you can enjoy one of their loaded bakers.  Choose from the following flavors:

Monday:

Bacon, Mushroom and Blue Cheese Burger or Mediterranean Feast

Tuesday:

Pepperoni, Mushroom and Olive Pizza or Crisper Cheese

Wednesday:

Chicken Cordon Bleu or Veggie Marinara

Thursday:

Chicken Fajita or Spinach, Cream Cheese and Roasted Garlic

Friday:  Stadium Dog or Sweet Potato Mus'go

About Spoons

A sole proprietorship, Spoons was founded in 2011 by woman entrepreneur, Merrie Bechtold.  Spoons is a small but growing soup restaurant with two locations and has launched an Indiegogo crowdfunding site to anchor the restaurant's fund-raising efforts.

Indiegogo Crowdfunding makes it easy for Spoon's customers, supporters and well-wishers to donate to the expansion campaign - and to make Merrie's growth plan a reality.
