Leving legal team thwarts abusive mother's attempt to rip child from grandfather

CHICAGO - Oct. 30, 2017 - PRLog -- When a drug addicted mother with a history of criminal convictions, mental illness and child abuse attempted to rip her four-year-old son from the safe and loving home provided by the child's guardian, a great man, he then desperately turned to the only person he knew that would be able to help him, Fathers' Rights attorney Jeffery M. Leving.

The child had been taken from the mother by the State when he was only an infant due to the mother's abuse and neglect of this child. The baby was then placed with his non-biological grandfather in a nurturing, stable and loving environment.

This non-biological, but psychological granddad, feared he would lose the little boy because, although he and his family were the only family the boy had ever known, he was not related by blood to the child. This man was the biological grandfather of the child's half-brother.

After the mother's attempts to take the child were rejected by the Court, the maternal grandmother, who resides in Arizona, attempted to snatch the child again.

Leving immediately assembled his legal team headed by powerhouse veteran litigator Andrew Muchoney and convinced the Judge that the child would be severely damaged if he were forced to move from Illinois to Arizona to live with a grandmother he barely knew, torn from his friends, his school, his home and from the only family he had ever known. Failure was not an option.

The Leving legal team went above and beyond taking this difficult and complex case to trial and ensuring that the child was protected at all costs. The mother is now in jail and the child is safe at home, with the only family that had ever been there for him. The boy is "where he belongs," said Leving.

This case is yet another testament to the Leving mission, that as long as there are real men who are willing to step up to the plate of fatherhood, Jeffery M. Leving and his firm will stand beside them, and never back down. Unfortunately, not everyone is aware that even in seemingly hopelessly complicated cases such as this, there is a path to victory.
