Real Property Management Last Frontier handles domestic issue, launches training initiatives for staff

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Oct. 30, 2017 - PRLog -- Real Property Management (RPM) Last Frontier faced a domestic issue in one of the properties the company manages earlier this month. Shots were fired in the bedroom of a tenant couple, the wife sustaining an injury to her eardrum and post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of the event. The husband was placed in jail.

This event comes after the company launched initiatives to train and coach staff on handling criminal cases for their clients. Staff recently started training on how to act as a liaison between owners, tenants, and their leases in such matters. This timely preparation made all the difference when RPM tactfully restored order to the situation.

Alaska residents are reminded of the lofty crime rate in the State. At 7.3 violent crimes per 1,000 residents, the violent crime rate in Alaska is almost double the National Median of 3.8.(1) Numbers like these drive home the imperative of crime readiness among local landlords and tenants.

RPM shoulders the burden of crime readiness for their clients, creating policy from firsthand experience. They also work with the police and the court system on their client's behalf to meet the standards of both civil and criminal law.

President of RPM, Kassandra Taggart comments on their services. "We are like the insurance company," Taggart says, "you pay your bill but you cannot see our value until you need assistance. When we are not assisting your property, we are assisting the property of someone else and developing the skills that make us ready to assist you."

Real Property Management Last Frontier has over 25 years of experience managing property in Anchorage and the Mat-Su Valley. The RPM team of professionals helps clients get quality tenants and the best rate for their rental property, handling late night phone calls and emergency maintenance issues, all while ensuring compliance with Alaska Real Estate regulations. RPM provides clients with a secure online account so that they can stay up-to-date on everything happening with their property.
