The Jerde Partnership's latest ground-breaking China project is the newly-opened Sino Ocean Group's Hangzhou Canal City.
The dynamic new social, shopping and entertainment hub is beside Hangzhou's iconic Grand Canal waterway, the inspiration for its integrated theme of water, gardens and the city's ancient culture.
Extending over 335,358 sqm, the new district integrates fountains, pools, cascading falls, channels and lush terraced landscaping – creating a symbol of urban advancement with a unique emotional connection to Hangzhou's heritage.
Widely-admired and renowned projects in China also include Brilliance West Shanghai, Solana Beijing, Haitang Bay Resort on Hainan Island, Shijiazhuang's Lerthai Center, Jinan's China Overseas Plaza-Unipark, and Northstar Xin He Delta in Changsha.
