Change in leadership at Pallett Valo guarantees an exciting future for the firm

TORONTO - Oct. 17, 2017 - PRLog -- John Russo has been appointed Managing Partner at Pallett Valo LLP effective immediately.

Mississauga's largest business law firm has taken a significant step in its succession strategy by promoting Russo into the leadership role alongside years of knowledge and experience within the executive team.  This step is a confirmation that the firm's long-term strategy  of grooming a new generation of lawyers that are poised to take over in various leadership positions within the firm, is working. With the support of the COO, Frances Wales, who has been with the firm for 15+ years, the firm is perfectly placed to enable the new executive team under the dynamic leadership and innovation of John Russo, ably supported by past Managing Partner Anne Kennedy acting as Deputy Managing Partner, to bring the firm into a new business reality.

Russo, who was called to the bar in Ontario in 1999, has made tremendous strides as a lawyer at the firm through his Commercial Litigation practice. He joined Pallett Valo in 1999 as a first year associate and gained management experience over the last few years through his involvement as litigation practice group head.  Russo was a board member of the United Way of Peel Region from 2011-2017 and in 2015 and 2016 held the position of Chair of the Board.
